In my personal life, I strive to maintain the same type of dedication to my community. I am presently involved in the following areas:

- I have worked with a team of others to raise close to $500,000 for the Hospital for Sick Children.
- I am also working with the Ontario Paraplegic Association to raise funds as well as awareness for the physically challenged
- Our fundraising has aided in helping to contribute funds to other local hospitals; by the way of car rallies, wheel chair races, and numerous other charitable events.
- Over the past 5 years, my family and I have been a part of the local food banks aiding in distributing food to the community soup kitchens providing warm food.
- One of our many accomplishments was in 1999 when we were able to initiate one of the greatest Food Drives in Ontario.
